PushDare

Privacy Policy for PushDare

Effective Date: 04/02/2026

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy describes how PushDare (“we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information when you use the PushDare mobile application (the “App”). By using the App, you agree to this policy.

2. No accounts (v1)

The current version of the App does not offer login or signup. We do not collect or store your name, email, or password in our own user database for authentication purposes.

3. Information stored on your device

The App stores certain information locally on your device (for example using the device’s local storage), including:

App settings (such as difficulty, rep targets, quiet hours, and notification preferences).

Records of completed workouts you finish in the App (such as reps completed and related session details).

This data stays on your device unless you choose to export it using the App’s export feature (see below) or unless your device’s operating system creates backups according to your device settings.

4. Camera and microphone

The App may request permission to use your camera to display a live preview during workouts. Rep counting is performed when you tap the on-screen ring in the workout flow.

We do not describe the App as uploading your workout video to our servers for rep counting in this version. If that changes in a future version, we will update this policy.

Some devices may request microphone access as part of the camera permission stack. The App is not intended to record or upload your voice for rep counting in the current version. If microphone behavior changes, we will update this policy.

5. Notifications

If you enable reminders, the App may schedule local notifications on your device. You can turn these off in the App’s settings. Local notifications do not require you to create an account.

6. Export and deletion

The App may provide options to:

Export a copy of certain locally stored data (for example as a file or shareable text you can save elsewhere).

Reset locally stored progress and restore default settings.

Exporting data may allow you to send a copy to yourself using your device’s share features (for example email or cloud storage you control). That action is your choice and is not the same as us receiving your data on our servers unless you explicitly send it to us (for example by emailing support).

7. Analytics, advertising, and crash reporting

Unless we tell you otherwise in a future update, this version of the App is intended to operate without third-party advertising SDKs and without integrated analytics or crash reporting. If we add services that collect information (such as analytics or crash reporting), we will update this policy and, where required, ask for appropriate consent.

By using PushDare, you agree to this Privacy Policy.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated policy.
